To become a successful event planner, you must start by learning the essentials. This course provides the tools and strategies you need to excel. 

Fundamentals of Meeting and Event Management is designed to:

  • Educate you in the fundamentals and practical knowledge of event and meeting planning.
  • Provide the skills necessary to develop, plan, market and execute a successful event. 
  • Explain how to advance your event planning career, including guidelines for career pathways and options as well how to start your own business.

This classroom-based course blends interactive instruction with hands-on creative activities, brainstorming sessions, volunteer opportunities and guest lectures from the top event planners and resources in the area.
