Course Description

This seven-week course introduces adult learners to the science behind today’s most pressing environmental issues — from climate change and air quality to food systems and energy policy. Each one-hour session emphasizes evidence over opinion, teaching participants how to evaluate scientific claims and separate well-supported conclusions from headlines and hype. No prior science background is required. Complex topics are presented in accessible language with real-world examples and open discussion.
