Course Description

Applicants must complete and pass the three Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) events (situps, pushups and 1.5 mile run) during the same testing session to be considered for acceptance into the Tri-C Police Academy. 

Standards are based on the Cooper Standard.

This assessment is only for those individuals who are applying for acceptance to the Tri-C Basic Police Academy. 
 Anyone needing to test for a police department please visit the Police Agility webpage.

Notes

  • If you are injured or recovering from an injury, you will not be tested and must schedule a date when you are completely recovered.
  • Cadets must exit at the 50th percentile in order to graduate from the Police Academy.
