Digital Photography Session 1/ Monochrome Worlds: Winter Stories in Black& White

Dates: January 10, 2026 - February 28, 2026 (Saturdays)

Time: 10am-1pm

Ages: 11-14

Overview:

  • Remove color to focus on the stories in front of you. In this photography class, you’ll de-emphasize color and develop subject matter, your frame/composition, light metering & histograms, and photos in series. Be creative.  Winter’s restrictions are a reminder that creative limitations can be a helpful tool in refining core photo skills. By the end of class, students will experiment with adding splashes of color to breathe some life into imagery in preparation for spring.
