Course Outline
The CompTIA A+ course prepares the student to identify and explain basic computer components; set up a basic workstation; describe the importance of motherboard components, including their properties and purpose; troubleshoot frequent problems related to motherboards, RAM-CPU and power with appropriate tools; describe in detail the various features and requirements of Microsoft Operating Systems Windows 7, 8 and 8.1; deploy and enforce security best practices to secure a workstation for Windows 10; and distinguish between internet connection network types and their features.
