Course Description

Victoria Woodhull: Shattering Glass Ceilings is a new documentary about Ohioan Victoria Woodhull, our first female presidential candidate. She ran in 1872 during a time when women couldn’t even vote, and she was too young to even be a candidate! The film premiered in September 2024 and has since been shown at the Cleveland International Film Festival this April; was named Best Documentary Short at the Boston Indie Film Festival; was nominated for the Toronto International Women’s Film Festival; and has been accepted for the Beaver Island Film Festival. A Q&A will follow the film.
