Course Description

In this 5-week intermediate-level course, students will construct a custom-fit blazer while mastering essential tailoring techniques, including sleeve setting, fitting adjustments, facings, buttonholes, and more.

Each class session runs for 2.5 hours and includes assigned homework to reinforce skills learned in class.

Course Requirements:

  • Students must supply their own fashion fabric, lining, thread, and buttons. A detailed supply list will be provided after course registration.

  • Additional materials will be provided by the instructor.

Please note: There will be no class during the week of Thanksgiving (November 24–28).

Notes

Prerequisites:
This is an intermediate-level sewing class. Students who have completed the Beginner Sewing Course (CRN 40687 OR CRN 40688) or the Beginner Sewing Course at Dru Christine Fabrics and Design are qualified to enroll. Other intermediate sewists are welcome.
