Course Description

This course will give you a basic understanding of how to operate a DSLR and/or mirrorless camera, lenses and other photographic equipment. You will gain an understanding of the camera functions and how to set them for whatever your photography interests are, whether it’s sports, landscapes or portraits. Get the most out of your camera by understanding what it can do for you. This class is for the true beginner and those needing a refresher on the basic operation of your camera. Bring your camera along with the manual, a memory card, lenses and your love for photography.

Camera Recommendations:
The instructor recommends using either a DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex) camera or a mirrorless camera for this course. Reputable brands such as Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic, and Olympus all offer excellent options. While both types of cameras are suitable, DSLRs are generally more budget-friendly for beginners.
