Course Description

Join us as we learn how the Baptists met on the frozen Lake Erie, cut a hole in the ice, and witnessed four baptisms, followed by the organization of the First Baptist Church. This magnificent Gothic church, rich in Christian symbols and carvings, a bell tower and breathtaking stained glass windows, has added an addition of an education wing. The church is active in the homeless feeding program by partially growing 2,000 pounds of local produce in the gardens on the church property.
