Course Description

Join us for the breathtaking, historical landmark tour of Lake View Cemetery by docent Barb Snow, our own Tri-C Neighborhood Scholars facilitator. Learn about the famous notable figures buried here, including President James Garfield, John D. Rockefeller, Eliot Ness and more. Following the tour of the cemetery, Barb will guide us through the magnificent Wade Chapel, built in 1901. The interior was designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. Its stained-glass window, titled the “Flight of Souls,” and intricate mosaics symbolize eternal life and the passage of time.
