Course Description

The Shrine of St. Stanislaus is a historic Roman Catholic parish founded in 1873 to serve the area’s Polish immigrant community. The building is designed in a Polish Cathedral-style Gothic architecture, with locally made warm red brick and dressed stone. The twin spires reaching 232 feet high were severely damaged by a tornado in 1909. Within the church are numerous sacred relics, a fragment of the True Cross and relics of saints, including Pope John Paul II and others.
