Course Description

The Vocal Arts Mastery Program, part of Tri-C Creative Arts Academy in partnership with the Cleveland Public Library, provides mastery level vocal training experience for students in grades 5-12 that includes solo and ensemble vocal skills, music theory, sight-singing and elementary keyboard training. Students gain foundational training and prepare a wide range of choral repertoire, culminating in public performances each semester.

Leading the program is renowned music educator and choral director William Henry Caldwell, current resident conductor for the Martin Luther King Celebration Chorus for the Cleveland Orchestra and the classical Roots Community Chorus for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

The Saturday Academy Choir invites students to study advanced material on Tri-C Metro Campus in the Gill and Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts.
