This Six Sigma introduction course provides an overview of the movement itself, as well as some DMAIC, control and causal methodologies.Course Outline
Lesson 1: What is a Sigma, and Why Six?
- This lesson provides a preliminary background history of Six Sigma, the reasons behind Six Sigma, and an overview of Six Sigma methodologies.
Lesson 2: DMAIC
- This lesson focuses on the DMAIC methodology, providing knowledge of the very foundation of Six Sigma.
Lesson 3: You Are So Controlling!
- Six Sigma practitioners never die — they just get out of control. How do we know if your process is valid? Is it "in control" or "out of control"? Find out why Six Sigma practitioners are control freaks.
Lesson 4: Symptom or Cause?
- Why? No, really ... why? To solve a problem, one must first understand its nature. Learn some tools for zeroing in on the problem.
