The SLCP is a noncredit certificate program offered through Student Life. This is your opportunity to grow as a leader, explore your strengths, and gain experience that makes your resume—and you—stand out.
Complete 7 meaningful activities to earn your Student Leadership Certificate:
- Completion Plan + Mentorship Meeting: Meet with a Student Life Advisor (SLA) to set goals, build a timeline, and launch your SLCP journey.
- Knowing Self and Others: Explore identity, communication, and collaboration—tools to better lead and connect with others.
- Values + Representation: Learn how your personal values connect to civic systems at the local, state, and federal levels.
- Student Leadership Retreat OR 5 Personal Development Events: Attend our in-person retreat or choose from virtual and on-campus events that match your interests and schedule.
- 25 Hours of Community Service: Serve your community while building leadership, teamwork, and purpose.
- Resume Update with Career Services: Work one-on-one with Career Services to highlight your SLCP experience and leadership skills.
