Course Description

The Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks class prepares students for the TSHOOT 300-135 exam while learning to plan and perform regular maintenance on complex enterprise routed and switched networks. Through the hands-on lab component of the class, the student will develop the knowledge and skills needed to use technology-based practices and troubleshooting methods, approaches, procedures and tools. Also, as a part of the curriculum, a series of different organizations are introduced for each a set of troubleshooting scenarios that are presented.

Course Outline

Ability to design and document common maintenance functions in a complex enterprise network. Develop a plan to troubleshoot. Identify and resolve problems in a complex enterprise network. Understand and able to choose the tools that support troubleshooting and maintenance processes in a complex enterprise network. Maintaining procedures and fault resolution in a secure infrastructure. Switching-based and routing-based environments.
