Course Description

A concise introduction to Microsoft Project 2016. Course materials provide up-to-date information on setting up projects and building a project schedule. The goal of this course is to impart an overall understanding of Microsoft Project 2016 with a focus on basic concepts, definitions, tools, strategies, processes and phases.

Course Outline

Getting started with Microsoft Project. Understand new features of Microsoft Project 2013 and 2016. Receive a guided tour of the user interface. Demonstrate simple scheduling basics - tasks, resources, calendars and assignments. Build a task list. Set up resources - work and cost resources, people, equipment and materials. Assign resources to tasks. Format and share your schedule.
