Course Description

Explore the spreadsheet concepts required to produce basic worksheets, including inputting data and running calculations. Topics include creating a basic worksheet, performing calculations, modifying and formatting a worksheet, printing workbooks and managing large workbooks.

Course Outline

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to identify rows, columns, cell references and the active cell; open, save and close workbooks; enter and edit labels, values and formulas; find and replace; use undo and redo; move and copy data; insert and delete ranges; use relative and absolute references in formulas; use SUM, AVERAGE, MIN and MAX; format text and numbers; draw cell borders; change column width and row height; check spelling; preview and print worksheets; control page setup, including footers and headers; and create charts.
