The Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus is dedicated to the bishop, martyr and patron of Poland. Built in the 1800s, the church — which is the center of Cleveland’s Polish community — was the first in the United States to host the pope. Pope John Paul II celebrated mass there during a 1969 visit as Cardinal Karol Wojtyla. Join us for a tour of this magnificent church in Slavic Village.
