Can We be Frank?
Chief Curator Courtenay Finn
Now more than ever, we need to have a frank and open conversation about race, love and hate, the environment, the capitalization of time and the construction of truth. This museum-wide exhibition, F as in Frank, features artists including Andrea Bowers, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, EJ Hill, OOIEE, Paul Ramírez Jonas and Cally Spoone. Through works of photography, sculpture, drawings, video and performance, they explore how art can capture the imagination and change the consciousness of people. If the consciousness of people change, then people will also change the world in which they live.
Following the virtual presentation, registrants are encouraged to view the exhibit on-site.
Public programs might be available but cannot be confirmed at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
