Course Description

Tri-C’s internationally recognized Jazz Institute gives students an opportunity to develop their skills and perform in both large and small ensembles. Students engage in workshops and artist-in-residence clinics focused on repertoire development, jazz theory and improvisation.

Tri-C's JazzFest Academy gives students the opportunity to develop their skills and perform in both large and small ensembles through rehearsals that focus on music history, theory and improvisation. The semester will end with a public performance, and selected ensembles will perform at venues around town. 

Spring Concert: Monday, May 11th at 7:30pm, Metro Murphy Mainstage Theater.
