ZNMC1081 - The Orchestra Program (TOP)

Course Description

The Orchestra Program (TOP), classes are presented in a dynamic, intense and fun way that will incorporate instruction in all of the elements necessary to deeply learn how to play in an ensemble setting, from string orchestra all the way to a symphonic orchestra. By focusing on a mastery-based approach to music education, while inspiring a high standard of excellence, students will develop lifelong musical, social, and leadership skills which position them for success in their everyday lives.

All programs serve musicians of all abilities, from beginning to advanced, ages 6-18, and consist of coordinated classes in Orchestra Rehearsal and Sectionals or Group Instrumental Lessons. Programs also include Music Theory and do not require music reading skills. Students are evaluated and placed in levels appropriate to their experience.

This program culminates into a final performance at the end of the semester.
