Course Description

The Tri-C Community Dance Mastery Summer Camp for youth ages 6-12 is made possible through generous support from The Cleveland Foundation. The program brings students from across the city together to study and perform at Tri-C's Metropolitan Campus.

Students train in the fundamentals of ballet and explore
creativity through modern dance. This camp emphasizes
contemporary techniques to develop coordination,
musicality, strength, flexibility, and alignment. Students
receive instruction in creative improvisation, performance
development, choreography, and composition skills. The
camp culminates in a final public performance.
Renowned artist Terence Greene serves as the director
and choreographer. His love for choreography and
teaching young people is evident in the extensive number
of schools, professionals and dance companies with
which he has worked both nationally and internationally.
Jessica Spurlock joins Greene in tap and repertory.
Lunch is provided. Registration is free.

The Camp Concert is Saturday, June 8th in the Metro Campus Theatre at 7pm. Tickets are $5.00.
