Course Description

Made possible through generous support from the Cleveland Foundation’s Community Arts Mastery initiative, this camp provides training in ballet fundamentals and allows participants to explore their creativity through modern dance. Contemporary techniques help campers develop coordination, musicality, strength, flexibility and alignment. Instruction in creative improvisation, performance development, choreography and composition skills culminates in a final public performance.

Lunch provided. Performance tickets are $5 and will be available online.

Renowned artist Terence Greene serves as camp director and choreographer. His love for choreography and teaching young people is evident in the extensive list of schools, professionals and dance companies with which he has worked both nationally and internationally.
