ZPDI0580 - Microsoft Office 365: Word 2019 (Online)
Course Description
This course covers the many facets of Microsoft Word 2019. Students will learn basic functions, such as adjusting margins and inserting pictures, as well as how to share documents and create an online form. More advanced features, such as flyer creation and macros, will also be explored.
Students who successfully complete this course are prepared to take the Microsoft Word 2019 national certification exam.
Course Outline
Lesson 1: Creating and Modifying a Flyer
Lesson 2: Creating a Research Paper and a Multi-Page Document
Lesson 3: Creating a Business Letter and Using Mail Merge
Lesson 4: Creating a Resume and a Newsletter
Lesson 5: Using Collaboration and Creating a Reference Document
Lesson 6: Creating an Online Form and Using Macros
Learner Outcomes
Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Format text.
- Revise a document using the comments feature and autocorrect.
- Create a business letter.
- Edit lists and page numbers.
- Create a resume.
- Use mail merge to create a batch of documents.
- Create a newsletter.
- Create an online form.
- Use macros to enhance an online form.

Participants must have a copy of Microsoft Office 365 in order to complete coursework.
Participants have 12 months to complete this self-paced online course.
Certification(s):
This course prepares students for the Microsoft Word 2019 national certification exam.
