Course Description
Explore the many facets of Microsoft Outlook 2019, learning basic functions like managing emails, creating and managing calendars, working with contacts and display/print views, and creating and editing appointments. Microsoft Office 365 required to complete coursework.
Course Outline
Lesson 1: Managing Email Messages
Add a Microsoft account to Outlook and learn how to compose and reply to email messages, attach a file to a message, create and move messages into folders, and check spelling as you type.
Lesson 2: Managing Calendars
Learn how to work with calendars, including creating and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events and sharing your calendar.
Lesson 3: Managing Contacts
Learn how to view and sort a contact list, edit a contact, and create contacts in various ways.
Lesson 4: Tasks
Explore the Task function, including categorizing and managing tasks, categorizing email messages, and working with display and print views.
Lesson 5: Customizing Outlook
Learn how to customize email messages, create signatures and stationery, and customize your calendar.
Learner Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Successfully send an email message.
- Reply to an email message.
- Edit the calendar in Microsoft Outlook.
- Create an individual and a group contact in Microsoft Outlook.
- Create and modify a task.
- Customize Outlook by inserting links into messages, creating rules and setting an email signature.
