Course Description

This eight-week course prepares Quality Professionals for the exam that leads to Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Sample questions will be reviewed throughout the course to give students a feel for the exam.

Course Outline

Review significant sections of the CQA Body of Knowledge, including:

  • Audit planning
  • Audit process
  • Audit fundamentals
  • Auditor competencies
  • Audit program management and a number of quality tools used in the audit process

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze and judge the effectiveness of the quality management system and its adherence to quality standards
  • Prepare experienced auditors for the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor exam
  • Demonstrate the audit process and use of quality tools
  • Define auditing fundamentals and techniques
