Course Description

This workshop is based on the best-selling book StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Tom Rath. The accompanying assessment, developed by psychologist Donald O. Clifton, allows individuals to identify their strengths, build upon them and integrate them into their daily lives. Participants will have the opportunity to identify and learn about personal strengths, discover how their unique talents can best be used and examine how different strengths work together in the workplace.

 

Course Outline

Upon successful completion of the workshop, learners will be able to:

  • Identify their personal and professional strengths.

  • Learn and appreciate the strengths of others.

  • Identify and understand strengths on their teams.

  • Improve communication and teamwork.

The book, StrengthFinder 2.0 is an essential part of the training and is provided to all participants FREE of charge.

Prior to the workshop, each participant must complete the Cliftonstrengths assessment using the unique access code found in the back of the book. Assessment results must be brought to the workshop. Books will not be distributed during the workshop.

Participants that do not attend the training, but have picked up a book will have a $17 no-show fee applied to their student account.
