Course Description

In the late 4th century AD, young Augustine struggled to find himself. He eventually became a priest, and later a bishop, in the early Christian Church. His background and experiences led him to formulate the doctrine of Original Sin. He fiercely debated — and even brought legal challenges against — his fellow clergy to make his positions Church Law. Was Augustine right, or were his contemporaries onto something better?
