Course Description

Beginning and intermediate level students can develop techniques on the main instruments of the percussion family including the snare drum, bells, timpani, bass drum and cymbals. Students will learn about hand drum techniques, learn to read notes and explore rhythms so they are equipped with the necessary skills to participate in band at school. At the end of the camp week, students will perform as a large ensemble at Parade the Circle on Saturday, June 8 in Cleveland's University Circle.
