Course Description

Engineering Explorers is an introductory camp to engineering fundamentals and their practical application in the realm of real-world applications to manufacturing. Through hands-on projects, campers will explore different manufacturing techniques, such as metalworking, 3D printing, and electronics production, and their application in design and product creation.

Learner Outcomes

At the end of the camp, students will:

1. Understand the basics of engineering principles and their application to manufacturing processes

2. Explore different types of manufacturing, including metalworking, 3D printing and electronics production, and how they can be used to create products

3. Develop problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity skills through hands-on projects

5. Collaborate with peers to design, build and test prototypes of products
